First ever CG2 Community 5K. Camp Gladiator Bastrop County and Community Gardens are teaming up to provide a morning of fitness, food & fun for the community of Bastrop County! Join us Saturday, August 17th for an all fitness level 5K, where no one will judge you for walking a little!

Bring your kids to the Bastrop YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day event for a fun run and other fun activities! It’s a free event at Bob Bryant Park and is sure to be a good time for the whole family.

The Gospels clearly states that we are to be a witness by giving our testimony as we go “fishing for men.” A witness simply tells of what we have Seen and Heard. It’s your story, but how many of us can give a simple, clear telling of our story that the “fish” will understand.
At the end of the Seen and Heard training, with Pastor Erin, you will be able to easily and confidently tell your story to see if the “fish” will bite.
Feed The Need will be providing lunch for all participants.

Training is essential to help maintain consistency in the mission God has called us to. We have designed four levels of training to help equip and empower volunteers to be effective in Feed the Need Missions.
We will be offering our 102 and 103 trainings in one day at this session.
102: This training is designed to give a better understanding of how the site functions. It is a three hour training that includes the mission, vision, purpose, and training on how a site is setup. This in-depth training shows how to use every area of serving as an opportunity to share the Gospel and make disciples.
103: The purpose of this training is to provide additional leadership training to the site lead team. It will include an in-depth training of Feed the Need Missions core values, how to manage crisis and mental health while pointing people to Jesus and go over each lead role and how they work together.
You are welcome to join us for one or both of the trainings, however the 102 training needs to be completed before the 103 training.
Please arrive a few minutes early to get checked in. Lunch will be provided. Children are welcome to be a part of the training.
