RELIEF

Extending Care During Challenging Times

It’s heartbreaking the suffering that goes on in a disaster, whether it’s a tornado or wildfires, when people lose loved ones and all their belongings. We as the body of Christ need to reach out to minister during this time both physically and spiritually.

We go into these devastated communities and supply a hot cooked meal, a listening ear, prayer and support as we help them work through their crisis. Many times we go without having a specific plan, and just remain open to where God wants to use us. God has compassion on the hurting and we are there to be God’s physical hands and feet during times of disaster.

As Feed the Need Missions serves every week in local communities across Texas, we are also preparing to respond in a time of disaster. We have a cooking trailer that we can load up with food and supplies and a core team that is willing to go at moments notice so we can head out when disaster strikes.

Through it all, it is amazing to see the many people who step up and help in times of need. From food supplies to financial donations to volunteers heading out at a moments notice, we are so thankful to see God’s hand at work through all of these people.
