This Easter ALL OF our sites will be experiencing what the Resurrection Egg is all about through the Easter Story during Easter week. We are excited to share the gospel through eggs with those who are interested! Each site will have additional fun activities to participate in as well.

Easter is the most important holiday for Christians because it commemorates their belief in the bodily resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth early in the first century A.D. We believe Jesus’ suffering and death were necessary to bring people back to God, and that he will return again one day. Secular Americans celebrate Easter with the Easter Bunny and egg hunts. Because eggs at Easter are familiar to children, resurrection egg kits are an easy way to explain the death and resurrection of Jesus. Each plastic egg contains an object that helps to tell a part of the story.

What a fun time for you and your family too. Take the time to read the Resurrection Story found in Matthew 21. If you are unfamiliar with the Resurrection Story there are so many resources online that you could find. You can even make your own Resurrection Eggs or purchase them online.

We also greatly appreciate your prayers this Easter! As we share about the Resurrection of Christ, we ask that you pray for those receiving and for lives to be changed for ever during this Easter Holiday. All of us at Feed the Need Missions hope you have a wonderful Easter!

Open House is still going strong! For the entire month of March every one of our sites are open for you to come check out what God is doing in our communities. We welcome you to join us at any of our locations. Click the site link for location addresses and times.

And..

Feed the Need Missions has been busy preparing for our upcoming trainings! We would like to invite you to come to a training in April. Checkout out our training landing page for a training in your area.

We look forward to seeing you at our Open House and Site Training events!

Christmastime is here and, like every year, Feed the Need Missions will still be out there serving our communities even on a special holiday, like Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This is a great opportunity for you and your family to come serve with us. We will be serving our regular weekly meal along with some sweet treats. And this is where we need your extra holiday help!

We are asking you to join us to make some sweet treats to bless those we serve during the Christmas season. These can be cookies, cupcakes, pies…whatever your Christmas treat heart desires. Bring your treats the day your local site meets, and we will hand them out that evening. And while you’re at it, why not stay and serve with us that day? What an incredible way to give back to your community this holiday season.

Each site has a specific set up time, serving time and clean up time. Please see below for the days we will be serving up some special Christmas treats at our sites. Click the site link for location addresses and times.

Have a very bright and Merry Christmas! And thank you for joining with us and spreading a little more Christmas cheer.

This year’s The Beyond Gala was a roaring good time! We are so thankful for everyone who was able to come out and support Feed the Need Missions that night.

Our event this year raised $44,000, our best response to this event yet! This income, as well as donations we have already raised, puts us well on our way of meeting our goal of $180,260 to cover our Bastrop-area sites for next year.

If you weren’t able to attend our event, it’s not too late to give. Would you consider making a monthly commitment of $20 or even $100? Your generosity will make a difference in so many people’s lives now and for the year to come. Simply click the donate button at the bottom to give today.

We LOVED seeing everyone in their fancy “Roaring Twenties” attire, it was even better than we could have imagined. Check out the awesome video recap of the evening above and view the photos from our photo booth from the event. It truly was a fun and festive evening!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our organization this past weekend at The Beyond Gala. We loved seeing so many new and familiar faces, and we can’t wait to see what God does through your generosity this next year.

Thank you to Joshua Helms for the video and Madison Grace for the photo booth photos.

Training is essential to help maintain consistency in the mission God has called us to. We have designed four levels of training to help equip and empower volunteers to be effective in Feed the Need Missions.

Currently for August we have three scheduled training opportunities: August 11th, August 18th, and August 31st. These training sessions are for anyone who wants to learn more about Feed the Need Missions and for existing volunteers. Children are welcome to participate and a light lunch will be served.

Join us for one of the training sessions in your area.
