Gobble Kits Distribution Day – Bastrop North

Each year, Feed the Need Missions collects supplies and donations to distribute full, traditional Thanksgiving meals to families in our communities.

TO SERVE:

If you live close by come serve with us and help us distribute Gobble Kits to families in need this Thanksgiving holiday. We will serve our regular site meal of hamburgers and hot dogs while giving away Gobble Kits to those who signed up to receive them. This fun event will bless your heart this Thanksgiving when you experience the recipients love and joy as they receive their thoughtful kits. March Bastrop Church & Burgers

Join us at Calvary Baptist Church in Bastrop, Texas as we share what God is doing in our communities through Feed the Need Missions.

This is a great opportunity to gather for a meal and learn more about our organization. We’ll also have information about how you can get involved and make a difference in your community.

Open House Party!

Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus we will be rescheduling our Open House Party. Please continue to check back for updates and if you have an already, subscribe to our mailing list.

Feed the Need Missions would like to invite you to our Open House Party! For the entire month of March every one of our sites is open for everyone to come check out what God is doing in our communities.

Now we want to celebrate with a fun Open House Party on Saturday, March 28, 2020. Join us at Community Gardens to check out our new office, be a judge for the burger cook off, face painting, bounce house, live band in the evening and a free burger dinner served at 5pm.

All you have to do is show up! If you would like to participate in judging purchase a $5.00 ticket to taste one sample from each contestant; judging will start at 5pm. This is a fun family community event to celebrate together all that God is doing within Feed the Need Missions.

Family Volunteer Opportunities at Lights of Tejas!

Feed the Need needs volunteers throughout the rest of December to serve with us at Lights of Tejas. If you and/or your family would like to sign up for an evening (or evenings) to serve that would be much appreciated. As a volunteer here is what to expect:

Schedule for each day:

4:00 – 4:30pm Volunteer Arrival & Check in. As you drive up to the front gate tell them you’re volunteering with Feed the Need as a Community Partner. The parking crew will direct you on where to park and then send you to the dining hall to sign in.

4:30 – 5:30pm Dinner. When you volunteer with us you get a free meal (the food is excellent:). After you are finished eating you will head to Marmax, which is the building our booth is set up in.

5:45 – 8:30pm Feed the Need Missions table. You and the other volunteers will make sure everything goes smoothly at the table. Again, it’s very simple and really fun!
