MEET A VOLUNTEER: KIM AND TOM BECKHAM

For the Love of…

Kim and Tom Beckham met in Colorado. Kim’s son from a prior marriage introduced them. They married and spent 20+ years in Colorado and then moved to Texas in 2014. They will be celebrating their 26th wedding anniversary this coming July.

Mike and Lynn Martin from the Bastrop South site invited them to come serve with Feed the Need Missions in 2014. “We’ve been blessed by the experiences and friendships at the site ever since. I love seeing the people whose needs are so high, and knowing that we are playing a small part in helping fill physical and spiritual needs.”

Kim and Tom found their love and passion in Christ, their marriage, and in serving together. This month as we celebrate Love we encourage you to find your passion just like they did.

She said, “It’s been great to build friendships with the other volunteers as well as the people who come to be served. Having the opportunity to get to know everyone and understand their journey has been a blessing to us. We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Feed the Need Missions and watching lives change.”
