YES! I’ll get involved and help Feed the Need Missions ignite change in my community today!
Dear Friend,
All it takes is a small spark to light a huge fire. Similar to a spark, the simple act of meeting a basic need like providing a meal may seem small, but its impact can be far-reaching. It has the potential to light a larger flame that spreads change throughout communities.
At Feed the Need Missions, people meet needs and ignite change every week in our communities. From the person who grills burgers every week to the generous donor who provides financial support, we would not be able to serve as many people as we do without the dedicated support of friends like you, and like Jeremy.
A few years ago, Jeremy and some friends saw a need in their community and wanted to respond. They had an idea to provide meals for people, but they weren’t entirely sure how it would look. After church one day as they were brainstorming, a staff member from his church overheard their conversation and it was mentioned to the pastor.
Turns out the church staff had been in discussions about ways they could meet needs in their community, as well. When their pastor heard about Jeremy’s heart and passion to provide meals for people, he connected him with Feed the Need Missions. And long story short, the La Grange site was born.
Our mission at Feed the Need Missions is simple—feed people physically and spiritually. Without the generosity of friends like you and Jeremy, who support what Feed the Need Missions is doing in our communities, we would not be able to serve and share the love of Christ with anyone who stops by.
That’s why I am asking you to ignite change in your community today with a contribution to Feed the Need Missions. Your gift of $25 or even a generous $100 will ensure that we will continue serving each week.
Jeremy has been the site coordinator for the La Grange site since day one. He and his family are all involved in serving their community every week, and they have truly been changed by this experience.
“You come for whatever reason and you don’t even realize what starts changing you, and then that goes out and changes families, schools, it changes the whole community,” Jeremy told us.
But Jeremy’s involvement doesn’t stop there. In starting a new site, he realized that in order to make a site sustainable, it needed to be supported financially as well. And he wanted to use his connections as a veterinarian to make a difference.
So he came up with the idea of starting our Give Back Beef program, where the proceeds received from selling beef products benefit Feed the Need Missions and help fund our sites. This idea truly meets needs and ignites change.
Getting involved with Feed the Need Missions, whether it’s through volunteering, coming up with new ideas like the Give Back Beef program, or making a financial gift, doesn’t just give back to those who might be struggling. It strengthens the community.
Jeremy sparked change by responding to the needs in his community, and we are so thankful for his dedication. Will you join him and get involved in your community by making a gift to Feed the Need Missions today?
Thank you for meeting needs and igniting change, and thank you for giving generously today.
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
Matthew 25:40
